Marshfield’s girls (4-5-1, 5-7-1) dropped their final prep basketball game of the 2021 regular season 35-29 to league champion Cottage Grove, Friday, at Junction City. The Lions went on to beat Junction City 45-42 to win the league’s No. 1 seed to the playoffs. Cottage Grove will face Valley Catholic at home Tuesday. JC will travel to unbeaten Hidden Valley at Grants Pass as the No. 2 team.
