Booster Clubs
The Marshfield and North Bend booster clubs meet today at noon. The Pirates will meet at Abby’s Pizza, while the Bulldogs gather inside the high school’s Hall of Champions. Both luncheons will feature coaches and student-athletes. All those interested in local prep sports are invited to attend.

North Bend’s boys dropped a 55-51 non-conference basketball game at Cottage Grove Tuesday night. The Bulldogs (0-4) next compete in the Capitol City Classic at Willamette University in Salem beginning Dec. 21 against Gervais. North Bend’s girls won 51-23 over the Lions. Brittney Kubli scored 18 for the Bulldogs (2-2). North Bend plays in the Les Schwab Tires South Coast Holiday Tournament beginning Thursday, 4 p.m., against Sutherlin at SWOCC.
