The Marshfield and North Bend booster clubs will not meet today, because of Veteran’s Day, but will instead meet on Thursday, normal times and locations.
Pirate Football All League Selections
Following a meeting of the Far West League football coaches Nov. 1st, the 2015 All League selections have been announced. Marshfield: 1st Team All-League – Matt McAllister- Offensive Player of the Year; Corey Shaffer- Center; Mason Jussila- Offensive Line; Ben Martin- Wide Receiver and Defensive Back; Isaac Smith- Defensive End; Justin Cooper- Defensive Back; DJ Herrington- Linebacker. 2nd Team All-League – Andrew Post- Offensive Line; Tyler Post- Defensive Line; Rylee Trendell- Linebacker. Honorable Mention – TK Capps- Defensive Line; Ian Emlet- Kicker; Ben Martin- Punter; Vinny Tine- Receiver.
Bulldogs Football All League Selections
North Bend lineman Joe Rutheford was named Defensive Player of the Year by the Far West League football coaches following the conclusion of the regular season. The Bulldogs’ coach Gary Prince was honored as Coach of the Year for leading North Bend to the 4A FWL championship. Offense First Team All League – Daniel Ferenczi, Joe Rutheford, Max Freeman, Dakota Moore, Michael Hannah and Ian Bream. Second Team – Brody Lucero, Drae Stark, Roger Iparraguirre, Rich Rigney and Austin Miller. HM – Michael Hannah. Defense First Team – Joe Rutheford, Dakota Moore, Michael Hannah. Second Team – Max Freeman, Rich Rigney, Daniel Ferenczi, Drae Stark, Roger Iparraguirre. Specialists – Ian Bream.
