Booster Clubs
The North Bend and Marshfield booster clubs meet today at noon. The Bulldogs will gather at the high school’s Hall of Champions, and the Pirate meet at Abby’s Pizza in Coos Bay. Both meetings are open to those interested in local high school sports.

Marshfield’s volleyball team continued its drive to an unbeaten 4A Far West League season with a three-set sweep at South Umpqua in Tri City Tuesday night. The loss dropped the Lancers into a tie for second with Siuslaw with one match remaining in the regular season. Siuslaw stumbled at home in a 3-2 loss to visiting Douglas. No score North Bend at Brookings-Harbor. The Lady Pirates won 25-16, 25-19, 25-10. Seniors Hailee Woolsey and McKenzie Allison led the attack with 15 and 13 kills respectively. Setter Shaylynn Jensen had 34 assists. The Marshfield JV team lost to South Umpqua 25-19, 25-20. On Thursday, Marshfield (9-0, 18-0) travels to Douglas (4-5, 9-7), Siuslaw (5-4, 8-7) plays at North Bend, and South Umpqua (5-4, 6-8) goes to Brookings-Harbor.

North Bend’s boys downed Marshfield 11-0 in 4A Far West League play at Coos Bay Tuesday night. The Bulldog boys remain unbeaten (8-0, 12-0). No score on the girls’ match. In other FWL boys matches, Douglas won at South Umpqua 5-1, no score Brookings-Harbor at Coquille. In girl’s play, Douglas won at South Umpqua 3-1, and Brookings-Harbor won at Coquille 9-0.
