Marshfield’s softball team moved into a three-way tie for third place in the 4A Far West League with a 14-4 win over Douglas at Winston Wednesday. The two teams will meet again Friday in Coos Bay, 3 & 5 p.m. for a doubleheader. The Lady Pirates are tied at 4-6 with Brookings-Harbor & Siuslaw. So. Umpqua (9-1) & North Bend (8-2) lead the league with five games remaining.
