Not a good trip to the Central Oregon Coast for Marshfield’s soccer teams Monday. Both fell to Newport at Gene Morrow Field. The girls lost 7-1 and the boys fell 4-0 to the Cubs. The Lady Pirates (1-3) are scheduled to host Cascade on Thursday, Sept. 14, 4 p.m. at Pete Susick Stadium, Coos Bay. The Pirate boys (0-3) will also host the Cougars on Thursday, 5 p.m.
