Congratulations for a job well done to the members of the Marshfield Math team. They had a great showing at the recent Regional Skill’s Day competition at Southwestern College. Out of 9 schools and about 250 total students (90) in the math division the following are results for each level of the math competition. There were about 15 of the top students from around the area competing at each level: Pre-Algebra level: Karli Whitson 6th and Mark Larson 10th place. Algebra level: Gannon Holland 2nd and Elise Martin 3rd place. Advanced Algebra level: Andrew Prince 3rd and Justin Coplin 6th place. Pre-Calculus level: Michael Ebenal 3rd, and Andre DePlois 4th place. AP Calculus level: Rylee Trendell 2nd place (state qualifier) and Isabel Groth 4th place.
