Marshfield’s girls were fourth and the Pirate boys eighth at the 26-team Stayton Twilight Track & Field Meet Friday. Hidden Valley won the girl’s team title with Silverton second and Tualatin third. Silverton’s boys took first with Hidden Valley second. Individually, seniors Chase Howerton (13-06) & Kamren Chard (13-0) go 1-2 in the Pole Vault. Senior Sirus Robie won the Triple Jump (39-03). Senior Jazmin Chavez was second in the 800 (2:22.97); senior Ravyn Miranda was third in the 100 (12.51). Senior Gabe Delgado was fifth in the 3000 (9:35.87). Senior Elise Martin took second in the 100H (15.71). Senior Brian Place was sixth in the Javelin (160-08). Marshfield hosts a District 4 Varsity Meet Tuesday, 4 p.m., on Prefontaine Track in Coos Bay.
