Marshfield’s track & field teams swept a District 4 Varsity Meet on Prefontaine Track in Coos Bay Tuesday. The Pirates boys won with 213-points, Siuslaw second with 113, followed by Marist Catholic 80, Elmira 56, Junction City 30 & Cottage Grove 15. Marshfield’s girls won with 247-points, Siuslaw second with 105, Elmira 50, Junction City 43, Marist Catholic 29, & Cottage Grove 6. Individually: Micah Tardie and Kaleb Hughes went one (11.77), two (12.06) in the 100, and then flopped in the 200 with Hughes first (24.79) & Tardie second (24.86). Ravyn Miranda took both the 100 (12.91) & 200 (26.72) and Long Jump (16-05.75). Elise Martin swept the Hurdles, 100 (16.42) & 300 (51.44), an added the Triple Jump (32-07.25). The Pirates swept both relays. Gannon Holland took both the Shot Put (46-02) & Discus (128-01). Chase Howerton won the Pole Vault (13-06), and Long Jump (19-08). Sirus Robie was first in the Triple Jump (38-07). Khaley Aguilar won the Pole Vault (11-06). Joe Martin took the High Hurdles (17.56). And, Kaylee Delzotti ran 1:03.55 for first in the 400. Marshfield has District May 10 & 11 at Marist Catholic in Eugene.
