Marshfield’s volleyball team was eliminated from the OSAA 4A playoffs with a 3-2 loss at La Grande Saturday. The Tigers advance to the OSAA 4A Tournament at Forest Grove HS next Friday to play top-seeded Valley Catholic. Out of the eight teams remaining, two are from the SkyEm League. League champs Cottage Grove beat visiting Banks 3-0, while Junction City downed Estacada on the road 3-1 to advance to the final eight. The Lady Pirates end the season with an 18-7 record.
