MHS Athletic Dept. release – Tuesday, January 17 our boys and girls basketball teams will host Junction City High School. During half- time of the boys game and between the girls and boys game we are celebrating the 2022 4A Volleyball State Champions and recognizing our school board as January is the national school board appreciation month. SCHEDULE: The boys varsity game starts at 5:45 PM. During halftime of the game, we will recognize our school board for their support and work in our district. Each board member will receive an autographed photo from our volleyball state championship team. This year’s school board is the first in our school’s history to win a volleyball championship. The girls game will start at 7:15 PM. Between the boys and girls varsity games, we will celebrate our 2022 OSAA Volleyball State Champions with the hanging of their banner. The state of Oregon sanctioned volleyball in 1976. In the 46 years of it being certified, we are proud to hang our very first volleyball state championship banner! Please join us on the 17th.
