Marshfield’s cross country teams swept the 2-mile Time Trials at Cottage Grove on Saturday. The Pirates boys won with 34-points to Junction City with 39, Jefferson 57, Cottage Grove 88 and Taft 113. The Lady Pirates won with 37-points to Sutherlin’s 57, Junction City 61 and Cottage Grove 62. Junior Robert Kliewer led the boys with a 5th place finish (12:17), while senior Kaylee Delzotti led the Pirates girls with a 4th place (15:08). Marshfield next runs at the NW Classic, Lane CC in Eugene, on Sept. 14th.
