“Mightly Wurlitzer” Concert Series, April 9

The ETPA Wurlitzer Restoration Committee is pleased to announce a series of programs that will help them with the ongoing maintenance and restoration of the Egyptian’s Mighty Wurlitzer Pipe Organ. Your purchase of a ticket to attend these programs will help us raise the funds needed to continue restoring the 90-year-old Wurlitzer organ to its former glory. ETPA Directors Lee Littlefield and Paul Quarino will perform programs with a variety of themes: Pops Concerts, Silent Comedies, Broadway Shows and Musicals, Silent Feature Films, and of course “Duets”. Don’t be surprised if we ask you to sing along. The first program of this series will feature Paul Quarino on Thursday evening, April 9th at 7:00 P.M. Paul, who is internationally known and is one of the Pacific Coast’s premier organists, is remembered by many pizza gourmets from his days as organist at the Organ Grinder restaurant in Portland. He has donated his expertise, hundreds of hours and many weekends over the past 34 years to keeping our wonderful instrument from falling into complete disrepair. We would like to make everyone a “Friend of The Mighty Wurlitzer” so we hope to see you on April 9th.
