Signs will go up soon, but the new open hours for Mingus Park in downtown Coos Bay will begin immediately. The Coos Bay City Council voted to limit the open hours at the park from Sunrise to 11 p.m. ruing their meeting Tuesday night at City Hall. Officials cite vandalism and illegal camping as some of the reason to limit the hours.
