The outdoor public pool at Mingus Park in Coos Bay is expected to reopen in time for Summer Fun. That’s after a quick fundraising effort to replace an aged boiler successfully raised over $80,000 easily covering the $75,000 replacement cost. According to a release from Coos Bay Mayor Joe Benetti, 26 individuals, and three businesses contributed to the fund to help make the project move forward.
