Missing Central Coast Woman Found Safe, Oct. 30

Oregon State Police (OSP), with the assistance of Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Search & Rescue and Lincoln County area emergency responders, were asking for the public’s help, Wednesday, Oct. 29, to help locate a missing 33-year old woman last seen Tuesday night in Lincoln Beach, a small community north of Depoe Bay. However, ELIZABETH (Betsy) ANNE GARNER, age 33, was found safe and unharmed. According to an earlier report, she was last seen October 28, 2014 at approximately 8:00 p.m. at Fishing Rock State Park in Lincoln Beach where she was dropped off by a co-worker. She is presently living in the Gleneden Beach area. OSP was notified on October 29 at approximately 12:13 a.m. A search was started involving OSP troopers and detectives, Gleneden Beach Fire District, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies and Search & Rescue personnel, and Lincoln City Police Department. A U.S. Coast Guard helicopter was scheduled to join the area search at daylight.
