On March 16th, 2017, the Josephine County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a deceased female located in the 100 Block of Lone Mountain Rd, Obrien Oregon. The Josephine County Major Response Team was activated and the Oregon State Police was assigned as the lead investigative agency. The female has been positively identified as 20 year old Kayla Lee YARBROUGH. YARBROUGH had previously been reported missing and an active investigation in regards to her whereabouts was being conducted by the Oregon State Police and the Medford Police Department. The cause and manner of YARBROUGH’s death is the focus of a current investigation. No other details will be released at this time.
