One of two missing hunters from Coos Bay has been found in the rugged wilderness near Agness in Curry Co. Rescuers located 21-year old Trevor Higgins on Tuesday, Oct. 18. He was reported to be very hypothermic, lethargic, cold and airlifted by a U.S. Coast Guard helicopter to Bay Area Hospital in Coos Bay. Search and rescue teams from throughout Southwest Oregon are still looking for his father, 41-year old Shawn Higgins. The two were last seen on Friday, Oct. 14.
