Oregon State Police (OSP) and the Lake County Sheriff’s Office are continuing to investigate a report of a man found deceased south of Highway 140 near Lofton Reservoir in rural Lake County Sunday afternoon, March 15. According to OSP Sergeant Robert Fenner, at approximately 12:30 p.m., deputies and troopers were dispatched to an area approximately 2.4 miles south of the location where missing Lake County Man SPENCER KLING GIESEA, 44, is believed to have left his motorhome after he was last seen on Friday, February 13. Investigators contacted a couple driving in the area who spotted GIESEA’s dog, Angel, as they passed by. When the couple returned a few hours later the dog was still in the area and as they stopped to investigate they discovered GIESEA deceased. While the investigation is still on-going, investigators do not believe the death to be suspicious at this time, however, further review by the medical examiner’s office is pending.
