Missing Person – Request for Public Assistance, March 5

News release from CBPD. Angelo “AJ” Reed was reported as a missing person by concerned family members who stated they had not talked with him for approximately one month. They advised that, although Reed would occasionally not be available to contact in the past, this length of time was unusual and inherently concerning. Family members also reported they had located his vehicle parked in the Mingus Park area and that they learned from neighboring residents that Reed’s vehicle showed up at that location two or three weeks earlier. Given the circumstances, family members asked our agency to help them locate Reed. Through today’s date, we have been able to verify Reed was still in the Coos Bay/North Bend area and alright through February 6, 2015. In the days leading up to this time, however, Reed was reportedly somewhat despondent and paranoid. We currently do not know his whereabouts and are asking the public for their assistance. Anyone with information about Angelo “AJ” Reed or his whereabouts after Friday, February 6, 2015 is encouraged to contact the Coos Bay Police Department at (541) 269-8911 or the Coos Stop Crime tip line at (541) 267-6666.
