DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ore. – The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a missing Roseburg man and asking the public’s assistance in locating him. 37 year-old Richard John Siegrist of Roseburg was last heard from on Saturday, August 1, 2020. He left a residence in the 300-block of Lad Lane in a silver or gray Honda 4×4 SUV (unknown license plate). His destination was unknown at the time he left. Siegrist is described as 5’07”, 170lbs, brown hair and brown eyes with possibly a beard. He is known to frequent the mountains and wooded areas of Douglas County. “Our hope is that as people are recreating in the mountains, that they be aware of this case and report any information which may help us to locate Richard,” said Sgt. Brad O’Dell. “We do not have license plate on the vehicle he was driving, but we ask the public to keep their eyes open for a gray or silver Honda 4×4 SUV.”

He is no longer considered a missing person and the case has been closed.
