Law enforcement officers in southwest Oregon are looking for an overdue 63-year old Brookings man reported missing Thursday, May 7. William “Bill” Ahern III, a retired landscape photographer and avid camper and hiker, was last in contact with his sister April 25th when he was in the Portland area and set to return to Southern Oregon. He was reportedly driving a 1994 Toyota pickup truck with Oregon license plates 155BJR. Anyone who spots his vehicle is asked to call the Brookings PD (541) 469-3118 or the Gold Beach station of the Oregon State Police at (541) 247-6641 ext. 401.
