The outer fault line of the two that run parallel with the Oregon Coast continues to “shake rattle and roll.” According to the U.S. Geological Survey, for the second straight day a series of quakes were located west of the South Oregon Coast on the ocean’s floor. Over twenty quakes were recorded between Wednesday, Dec. 8 and Thursday, Dec. 9. They varied in size from 3.6-magnitude to 5.3. There were also two smaller quakes at the southern end west and southwest of Petrolia, CA, 2.5-magnitude & 2.8-magnitude, near Cape Mendocino in Northern California.
