On Sunday, September 9, 2018 at approximately 1:05 PM, Oregon State Police and emergency personnel responded to a motorcycle crash on Hwy 218 near mile post 11. Investigation revealed that two motorcycles were traveling together northbound on Hwy 218. The operator of one of the motorcycles, Gabriel SPACCARELLI (44) from Lake Oswego, became distracted and traveled off Hwy 218 and into an adjacent field. SPACCARELLI sustained fatal injuries in the crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
