Murder Suspect Arraigned, July 15

A 29-year old California male, accused of shooting another male in the head and killing him early Sunday morning, July 13, at a birthday party celebration in North Bend, was arraigned on a charge of Murder before Judge Richard Barron in a Coos County Circuit Courtroom at the Courthouse in Coquille Monday.  The victim, who was found in the back parking lot shortly after 1:15 a.m., has not been identified.  According to investigators, the victim was reportedly arguing with a female when Miguel Alejandro Iniguez intervened and fired one shot from a .45 caliber handgun.  The gun was recovered by police, and Iniguez was arrested at Walmart in Coos Bay after he purchased new clothes.  The investigation is continuing.
