The daughter accused of stabbing to death her mother in North Bend Monday night, Dec. 30, is scheduled to appear before a Coos County judge this morning Thursday, Jan. 2, at the Courthouse in Coquille. Twenty-five year old Alexia Marie Berquist allegedly stabbed her 58-year old mother, Ramona Matthews, to death at her residence on the 2500 block of Ash St. She has been charged with Second-Degree Murder. Her court appearance was scheduled for 8:30 a.m.
