The City of Coos Bay is in the process of upgrading the existing wastewater treatment plant, located at 680 Ivy Street. The contractor performing the work is McClure and Sons Incorporated. The construction activities will require the closure of N. 7th Street and Ivy Street from Hemlock Avenue to the intersection at 6th Street. The duration of the closure will be dependent on the work schedule for this phase of construction and is expected to extend as long as six months. It is anticipated for the road closure to begin the second week of May and continue through October of 2024.
