Join us in celebrating National Poetry Month at the Coos Bay Public by submitting a haiku to our Teen Haiku Challenge in April. The challenge opens on April 1, 2023 and will close on April 29, 2023 at 6:00pm. All submissions (with the author’s permission) will be placed on display in the library. The top 3 haikus, to be judged and selected by local poets, will receive a prize. Haikus may be submitted in person at the youth services desk at the Coos Bay Public Library or emailed to Jennifer Wilson at jwilson@coosbaylibrary.org.
