City of North Bend Fire & Rescue news release.  This coming Friday, February 2, 2018, at noon, and every Friday at noon thereafter, the City of North Bend, Oregon will be testing its public safety alert horn located on the top of its main fire station located at 1880 McPherson St., in downtown North Bend. This horn shall be used in the future to warn citizens of an imminent or occurring public safety emergency (e.g., tsunami, hazardous materials releases, etc.). Should you hear this horn sounding within the City of North Bend any time other than at noon on Fridays, it will be your signal to tune into local radio and/or TV channels or go to the city’s website (www.northbendoregon.us) or to the North Bend Fire Department or North Bend Police Department’s Facebook pages for emergency information.
