North Bend’s girls got their first win of the 2017-18 prep basketball season Tuesday night with a 66-42 at Phoenix. The Lady Bulldogs (1-3) open the Les Schwab South Coast Holiday Basketball Tournament Thursday, 7 p.m., against Madras at the Harding Gym. North Bend’s boys made it a clean sweep over the Pirates winning their game 37-34. The Bulldogs (2-2) open the Les Schwab South Coast Holiday Basketball Tournament Thursday, 8:30 p.m., against Philomath in the Harding Gym at MHS.
