North Bend beat host Newport 8-1 Tuesday during the Bulldogs final day at the Yaquina Bay Baseball Classic on the Central Oregon Coast. North Bend (3-1) hosts Hidden Valley in a non-league doubleheader Tuesday, March 29.

Marshfield’s baseball team is scheduled to host Cascade today in a prep doubleheader in Coos Bay beginning at noon. The second game is scheduled for 2 p.m. The Marshfield softball team is also scheduled to host Yamhill-Carlton at 5 p.m. at Coos Head Field in Coos Bay.
