The NBHS Science Bowl team competed at the BPA Regional Meet at the University of Portland Saturday, Feb. 6. After a strong showing in the morning, the Bulldog team took First in the afternoon engineering competition. They beat teams from all over Washington and Oregon by creating a tower made only of paper and tape that could support a 2kg weight during a 10s earthquake. Alyssa Monohon, Karl Stuntzner-Gibson, Nathan Midyette and Matthew Perry made up the team which was captained by Kaia Martin and coached by Mrs. Hampel and Mrs. Geierman.
