NBPD 2022 Statistics, Jan. 12

City of North Bend release – 2022 proved to be a challenging year for the department, with the recruitment and training of new police officers and promotions within the department. Both of these areas require many hours of extensive training in many areas. The lack of beds at the Coos County Jail created other challenges for officers. Below is an overview of the calls for service that members of the police department responded to for the calendar year of 2022. Total Calls For Service: 17,824; Case Numbers Assigned: 2,690; Abandoned Vehicles: 423; Burglary 1 and 2 Cases: 124; Assaults: 67; Criminal Mischief: 194; Criminal Trespass: 1,220; Disorderly Conduct: 398; Warrant Service: 255; Thefts: 315; Vehicle Break-ins: 116; Stolen Vehicles: 46; Sex Abuse and Rapes: 15.
