NB City Administrator report, 605 calls went through the North Coos Dispatch Center associated with the NBPD for the two weeks of January 10-22, 2022. Of those calls: 442 were given a log number (assigned to calls where an officer responded and spoke to a person or patrol checked an area but did not end up writing a report); and
70 were given a case number (assigned when action is taken and a report is generated in the record management system, e.g., person arrested, issued a citation, traffic crash, etc.) For this period, NBPD had: Criminal Trespass calls 24; Disorderly Conduct calls 13; Suspicious Conditions calls 55; Suspicious Vehicle Calls 15; Suspicious Subject calls 18; Domestic Dispute calls 2; Dispute calls 9; Unauthorized Use of Vehicle calls 13; Vehicle Break-ins 4; Assist DHS Child related calls 17; Assist Public calls 10; Abandoned Vehicle calls 6; Burglary Calls 5; Theft Calls 9; Assault 1; Suicidal Subjects 5; Burn Info calls 24; Totals 230. As you can see, NBPD personnel have been busy responding to the needs of the public.
