According to an entry on the NBPD log for May 14, 1:49 p.m., 2200 block 16th St., “neighbor of Holy Redeemer reported a vehicle returned that often speeds through turn, vehicle left south on Ash prior to PD arrival. RP also reported juveniles entering wooded area on Church property, advised this is an ongoing problem. Officers located the 5 juveniles, case referred to DA Juvenile Division for MIP Marijuana. All 5 issued permanent trespass from Holy Redeemer property. Church added to patrol list for ongoing problems with juveniles trespassing and speeding vehicles cutting through property.”

Trespass
According to an entry on the NBPD log for May 14, 8:50 p.m., 1800 block Newmark St., 35-year old Jerrod K. Strong, Coos Bay, charged with Criminal Trespass II “was cited in lieu of custody due to COVID-19.”
