According to an entry on the NBPD log for May 18, 11:44 a.m., 1735 Virginia Ave., “Safeway reported shoplifter left at 1137 hours after taking a beer. Officers respond and located the suspect at Marion & 16th,” 25-year old Christopher Robert Rauschert, Coos Bay, charged with Theft III & warned for Criminal Trespass II, “cited in lieu of custody.”

According to an entry on the NBPD log for May 18, 8:05 p.m., 38-year old Katrina L. Handsaker-Haney, North Bend, arrested on warrant charging Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, “CCJ authorized cite & release due to COVID-19.” Issued citation to appear in court.
