According to an entry on the NBPD log for Oct. 8, 11:34 p.m., Virginia & Everett, “officer attempt to perform traffic stop on 2 bicyclists, subjects both fled, officer located wanted subject out of CBPD / subject was cited in lieu of custody,” 23-year old Jacob A. Latta, Coos Bay, charged with Unlawful Possession of Meth, Escape III, & Interfering.
