According to an entry on the NBPD log for Aug. 7, 12:27 a.m., 1800 block Newmark St., “theft of cellphone & lighters from location, officer responded, report taken,” 41-year old Holly K. Daniel, Coos Bay, charged with Theft II and issued permanent trespass from location. “Cite in lieu of custody due to COVID-19, phone has been returned.”
No name, but….
According to an entry on the NBPD log for Aug. 7, 12:34 a.m., Lewis & Tremont (Hwy. 101), driver cited for Violation of Basic Rule (speeding) for doing 80 mph in a 45 mph zone. Un-named driver also warned for Reckless and Careless Driving.

At 12:23 p.m., 3400 block Pine St., “UEMV report and theft of tool from cab of vehicle / officer took report, Theft II & UEMV / wrench entered stolen LEDS.”
