According to an entry on the NBPD log for Feb. 4, 9:15 a.m., 1600 block Virginia Ave., “report of subjects in vehicle that backed into unoccupied vehicle at Banner Bank and left eastbound, 5 minute time delay, officer located suspects near City Center Motel, driver cited,” 24-year old Niza Portnell, Nebraska charged with Driving without Privileges, “driver cited in lieu of custody, male warned for driving without driving privileges.”

According to an entry on the NBPD log for Feb. 4, 10:45 a.m., 400 block Simpson Ave., “reported burglary at location, officer respond, report taken Burglary I, Theft I, ATL stolen bicycle.”
Accident
According to an entry on the NBPD log for Feb. 4, 8:34 p.m., Washington & Sheridan, “disabled vehicle stuck on roadway, officer made traffic stop on vehicle with heavy frontend damage caused by leaving roadway & damaging road marker, crash report completed & issued citation for Careless Driving, warned for Hit & Run, FTC to Present, FRC Present, FRC PRF Registration & Insurance, given copy of crash form; vehicle drivable, will be submitted to DMV for retest.”
