According to an entry on the NBPD log for May 8, 2:11 p.m., 1735 Virginia Ave., Safeway, “RP reported her purse and wallet missing after it fell off her car / RP arrived home to find a Good Samaritan left it on her porch, still with cash inside. RP was very grateful.”

According to an entry on the NBPD log for May 8, 3:42 p.m., “CBPD served NBPD valid 3 warrants” on 42-year old Danny Joe Sager, North Bend, charging FTA on Disorderly Conduct II, Interference with Peace Officer, FTA on FTA 2nd Degree and FTA 2nd Degree.

Counterfeit
According to an entry on the NBPD log for May 9, 6:41 a.m., “Yellow Cab driver turned in counterfeit bill received by customer. Officer seized bill.

Trespass
According to an entry on the NBPD log for May 9, 9:20 p.m., 3200 block Broadway Ave., 48-year old Christopher Beltran, Coos Bay, charged with Criminal Trespass II, “subject was cited in lieu of custody due to COVID-19.”

Upset Individuals
Various entries on the NBPD log for May 9 involving individuals not happy or upset. At 9:15 a.m., 1700 block Hamilton Ave., “report adult son of resident won’t leave location, is not suppose to be there / officers respond, advised verbal only, son eventually agreed to leave.” At 9:42 a.m., 1800 block Qaxas Hts., “hang up 911, North Coos 911 called back and reached mom of daughter who called because she can’t leave house, COVID. Officer respond and confirmed verbal only.” At 11:27 a.m., 1585 Sherman Ave., “Ashworths request male subject who made a mess in store after no ID to buy alcohol be trespassed / officers located suspect on Bay St., issued permanent trespass.” At 3:07 p.m., 2000 block Broadway Ave., “officer observed male & female in argument at Marion & Virginia, traffic stop @ Rite Aid, advised subjects are OK, warned for Improper Turn.” At 4:43 p.m., Sheridan Ave. & Virginia Ave., “officer flagged down by citizens reporting DOC people near location / officer contacted subjects behind vacant buildings with large mess, warned reference the complaint and trespass. All issued permanent trespass from property.” At 8:48 p.m., 1585 Sherman Ave., “report of subject upset store would not sell him cigarettes and threw something at business door, officers checked area UTL, request to be permanent trespass from location, will be referred for Criminal Mischief III.
