Officer responded/checked area and other neighborhoods, unable to locate; gone prior to arrival.” 12:05 p.m., 1500 block Sherman Ave., “2 extremely intoxicated male transients bothering my customers. One is passed out on sidewalk. Officer responded/subjects were permanently trespassed from Ashworth’s.” Fifty-two year old Jonathan Carpenter & 53-year old Lisa Wilcox contacted. 12:16 p.m., 1735 Virginia Ave., Safeway, “stolen Walmart cart sitting in front of Safeway with transient belongings inside. Officer responded/contacted 2 subjects and instructed them to return the cart to Walmart.” Fifty-three year old Eric Underland & 48-year old Anita Vagallos contacted. 5:13 p.m., 1300 block Sherman Ave., “report of suspicious male subject standing in front of the Visitor Center talking to himself. Officer responded/advised male left prior to his arrival. 11:45 p.m., 1600 block Sherman Ave., “RP reported transient trespassing at location, officer contacted subject, he left upon request, handled by officer.” Fifty-two year old Jonathan Carpenter contacted.

According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Sunday, April 9, 11:33 a.m., 1500 block Virginia Ave., “employees fighting in back parking lot,” 26-year old Tara Wentland, Coos Bay, “will be referred to the DA’s Office for Assault IV.” Thirty-seven year old female also contacted.

SO,” 29-year old Jaymar D. Quinn, Lakeside, arrested on charges of Failure to Appear on Dangerous Drugs, FTA, FTA and PCS. Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille. “Subejct will also be referred to DA for PCS Schedule I Meth, subject warned for Criminal Trespass.”
