NBPD report, April 19

Warrant/GP
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Monday, April 17, 2:12 a.m., “Grants Pass PD served our valid warrant” on 20-year old Joshua Smock, Coos Bay, charging Theft in the Second Degree.  Also, served NBPD warrant for Failure to Appear on original charge of Criminal Trespass I.

Cell Phone Tracked
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Monday, April 17, 11:23 a.m., 3698 Broadway Ave., “theft of cell phone from Goodwill.  Tracked it to residence in Empire.  Apple IPhone 6 Plus (white case).  Officers tracked phone to Kozy Kitchen.  Suspect contacted/phone returned to owner.  Owner declined to press charges.  Suspect counseled on theft of lost/mislaid property.”

Transient Criminal Mischief
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Monday, April 17, 1800 block Virginia Ave., “criminal mischief.  Transient defecated and smeared it on tenants door.  Have a letter on file to trespass anyone who doesn’t belong.  Wants to know what else she can do to rid the transients from her property. Officer spoke with her/assistance rendered.”

Transient & Park
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Monday, April 17, 3:38 p.m., 1300 block Sherman Ave., Simpson Park.  Parks Dept. trespassed male subject “from all North Bend parks.  RP believes he is living somewhere in the bushes in or near the park.  Caused a disturbance at park and pushed RP in face.  RP advised him he was trespassed and did not want to pursue any other charges at this time.”
