According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Tuesday, Aug. 29, 9:51 a.m., 2600 block Broadway Ave., “RP reported male subject previously trespassed took his cigarettes from location/another resident confronted the subject outside, officers respond and contacted all involved parties,” 57-year old Jedediah Hardy Parks, Coos Bay, charged with Harassment, Robbery III, Theft III & Criminal Trespass. Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.
Shoplifter
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Tuesday, Aug. 29, 11:54 a.m., 1735 Virginia Ave., “Safeway reported shoplifter in custody at the store, officer respond and contacted the subject,” 26-year old Jacob Royal Withers, Coos Bay, cited for Criminal Trespass II & Theft II. “Subject cited in lieu of custody.”
Recovered Stolen Vehicle
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2:56 p.m., Tower & Vista streets, “recovered stolen vehicle, hit confirmation and locate sent, RO notified and vehicle released,” 21-year old Vincent Catanzaro charged with UUV and Possession of Stolen Property. “Will be referred for Felon in Possession of Restricted Weapon.” Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.
Warrant
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Tuesday, Aug. 29, 5:36 p.m., 3600 block Tremont Ave., “RP request welfare check for elderly male losing control of his wheelchair at Newmark & Tremont,” 65-year old David Eugene Funk, Coos Bay, issued warrant for Failure to Appear on Burglary II, Theft I, “subject released in lieu of custody.”
Assault
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Tuesday, Aug. 29, 7:48 p.m., Ferry Road Park, “officer out with subjects at location,” 32-year old Robin Lambert, North Bend, charged with Assault IV Domestic. Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.
