Animal Neglect
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Wednesday, Aug. 2, 12:59 p.m., 1500 block Sherman Ave., “animal neglect, dog left in vehicle all day.” Animal was transported to Animal Control, 35-year old Lester Beck referred to the DA’s Office on charges of Animal Neglect. “Ashworth’s had vehicle towed from their parking lot.”
DUII
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2:13 p.m., 2300 block Broadway Ave., “911, possible intoxicated driver, 2017 Ford Mustang – Red,” 59-year old Gregory Leffew taken into custody for DUII.
Warrant
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Wednesday, Aug. 2, 10:55 p.m., 1400 block Sherman Ave., “3rd party report of burglary – theft of prescription and other items, also incomplete 911 at location,” 37-year old Eric A. Brandon, Coos Bay, arrested on Linn Co. SO warrants charging Failure to Appear on FTA 1 & FTA II, and Probation Violation on Possession of Meth and two-counts of Endangering Welfare of Minor. “Subject will be referred to DA for Burglary and Theft II. Also, 37-year old Jacob M. Baumgardner, Coos Bay, arrested on CBPD warrant charging Probation Violation on Possession of Meth, and “subject will be referred to DA for Burglary and Theft 2.” Both transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille, “property was returned to victim.”
