According to an entry on the NBPD log for July 17, 4:56 p.m., 1200 block Virginia Ave., “911 report of male subject attempted to cash stolen check, officers responded. Female detained, female wanted out of several agencies,” 33-year old Rachel E. Swigert, Corvallis, charged with Burglary I, Failure to Appear on Resisting Arrest, FTA Escape III, Resist Arrest, Criminal Trespass II, FTA Interfering with Officer FTA I. Also, 35-year old Loy K. Minton charged with Probation Violation, both transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.
