According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Tuesday, March 21, 4:03 p.m., 1735 Virginia Ave., “3 male transients knocking on vehicle windows as they try to leave the parking lot and turn onto Virginia and yelling at them if they don’t give them anything,” 57-year old Charles Knaus, transient, arrested on Criminal Trespass II charge and warned for Disorderly Conduct. Also, 40-year old Joshua Szumski, transient, arrested on charge of Criminal Trespass II. Warned for Disorderly Conduct. Both transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.
