According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Monday, May 7, 9:05 a.m., Newmark & LaClair, “CBPD located NBPDE suspect,” 38-year old Shannon Marie Strong, Coos Bay, charged with Theft I and transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille. “Officers recovered stolen animal / returned the dog to owner.”

Officers respond / located subject at Marion Ave. & Virginia Ave.,” 31-year old Jacob Clarence Cooper, North Bend, arrested on warrant charging Failure to Appear on Possession of Meth, Resist Arrest & Carry Concealed Weapon. Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.
