Mail Theft
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Wednesday, Oct. 31, 8:41 a.m., 3200 block Ash St., “RP request to report theft of mail, officer contacted RP, report taken, request extra patrols in the area.”

Warrant
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Wednesday, Oct. 31, 11:06 a.m., 1600 block Virginia Ave., “RP reported male subject in blue jacket, jeans, yelling and cussing at people.  Subject was asked to leave.  RP advised subject walking across Safeway parking lot yelling and flipping people off,” 30-year old Christopher Carpenter arrested on Douglas Co. warrant charging Probation Violation on Theft III charge.  Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.  “Subject was also trespassed from Pony Village Mall property.”

Pumpkin Smashers
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Wednesday, Oct. 31, 8:56 p.m., 1900 block Ash St., “several male subjects in costume took baseball bats to our pumpkins. Left in a white Ford Ranger PU.  OSP on traffic stop with suspect vehicle at NB Community Center,” 18-year old Brendon Roberts cited in lieu of arrest for Criminal Mischief.
