According to an entry on the North Bend Police logs for Oct. 7, 11:03 a.m., 1500 block Virginia Ave., “officer contacted subject for follow up,” 49-year old Curtis Tarbox, arrested on Parole & Probation Detainer, referred to DA for additional charge of Escape Subject, transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.
Stolen Check
According to an entry on the NBPD log for Oct. 7, 1200 block Virginia Ave., “US Bank reported suspect cashing stolen check in bank officers respond and contacted the female,” 46-year old Roxan Peterson, Coos Bay, charged with Forgery I, Theft I, Possession of a Forged Instrument 1st Degree, PCS Meth, ID Theft and transported to CCJ.
