NBPD report, Sept. 7

Dumpster Diver
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Tuesday, Sept. 5, 7:48 a.m, 1300 block Virginia Ave., “intoxicated male transient going through dumpster at Moes Super Lube and trash is everywhere,” 26-year old Craig Hyatt taken into custody on Probation Violation charge and transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.  “Subject was referred to DA Office for PCS Meth.”

Road Rage Warriors
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2:56 p.m., 1735 Virginia Ave., “lobby, driving complaint, road rage, male flipping me off and following me, other party came into NBPD lobby also, both subjects warned for Road Rage, second male was advised if he drives he vehicle from here he will be arrested for DUII.  He was warned for Reckless Driving.  Yellow Cab called for male subject.”

McCullough Bridge
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Tuesday, Sept. 5, 7:30 p.m., Hwy. 101, mp 234, McCullough Bridge, “suicide,” 50-year old female and 46-year old male listed as “Contacted.”  Another 7:30 p.m. entry, California Street Boat Ramp, “water rescue.”  A news release from NBPD verified a suicide.  The body of 55-year old James, of Bandon, was recovered from the water.
